Please note, during the colder season some orders may be delayed in shipping if we feel the temperatures are too low to risk it. If your order is going to be delayed for more than 7 days, you will be notified by email. Otherwise you will receive an email with a tracking number the evening your order ships out. Please be patient as we coordinate shipping with winter weather and country wide shipping delays.
The safety of our live animals during shipping is priority number one! With insulated boxes and heat packs we are able to ship these cold tolerant creatures during low temperatures.

When will my order ship?
Depending on location live feeders and animals are shipped out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We do not ship later in the week to avoid boxes being in transit over the weekend. Handling time may take 3-7 business days before we ship your order. In times of extreme weather, orders may be held for the safety and wellbeing of the animals.

The safety of our fish and microorganisms are always going to be our top priority. Shipping can be dangerous and very stressful on any living creature. We do everything we can to minimize these risks so it is up to us to decide when to delay shipping due to extreme weather or holidays.
We may delay shipping your order of live animals if the temperature in Dayton, OH or the delivery location is above 105 deg F or below 20 deg F.

What about a live arrival guarantee?
The creatures you purchase are guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy or your money back. If you experience a DOA (Dead On Arrival) please contact us within 3 hours of the delivery of your order. Pictures of the dead animals in the unopened bag must be sent to our email PhillipsFishWorks@gmail.com. Once we verify your purchase and pictures we will issue a refund or reship your order. We do not require a signature for delivery but highly encourage you to be available to receive your package when it arrives. Even in a property packed box, aquatic animals will suffer quickly sitting in the sun or snow on a front porch. Regardless of what happens, contact us and we will make it right!
