Microworms (Panagrellus redivivus) are small non-parasitic nematodes that grow over just 1 mm long. They make great live food for small fish, fish fry, axolotl babies and frog tadpoles. Microworms can easily be cultured at home with oatmeal or instant mashed potatoes. These tiny nematodes reproduce so quickly that in a matter of 3 to 5 days there will be thousands of microworms crawling up the sides of the culturing container. At this point they can be easily harvested by wiping them off the inside container wall with a q-tip, paint brush or moistened finger. You will be receiving a 12 oz deli style container with lid along with detailed instructions about how to care and grow your microworm culture.
